Warning: “Certificate expired, the digital certificate that identifies this site has expired”

During recording with Netscape, the user may get a certificate expired error. The message will read something like this:

"Certificate expired, the digital certificate that identifies this site has expired. The certificate expires on Jan 9, 2002 the current date is Jan 14, 2002."

The issue is probably related to the fact that during a previous recording session a certificate was accepted "forever (until it expires)" when presented with this option in Netscape.

Accept the certificate "for this session only"

Click on the lock icon at the bottom of the window to bring up the security information. Go to the Certificates -> Web Sites section and delete the certificate that was issued by Mercury.

Rerecord the site and accept the certificate "for this session only."
