Diagnostics 9.01 – CBReportGen class does not get instrumented with -javaagent option

The dumps indicate that the -javaagent option was used as well as -Xbootclasspath.

While this is the recommended configuration, in this particular case it causes us to miss the classes loaded from the native class loader,

because the class capture mechanism specified by -Xbootclasspath overrides the one used by -javaagent.

Please use the workaround below to handle the issue in Diagnostics 9.01, 9.02 and 9.10.

Run JREinstrumenter, as usual, but later remove or rename manually the following files (assuming JRE Instrumenter used “IBM/1.6.0”):

/bacdiag/JavaAgent/DiagnosticsAgent/classes/IBM/1.6.0/instr.jre/java/lang/ClassLoader.class

/bacdiag/JavaAgent/DiagnosticsAgent/classes/IBM/1.6.0/instr.jre/java/lang/reflect/Proxy.class

Then use the java command line option as recommended by JREinstrumenter (i.e. both -javaagent and -Xbootclasspath)
