User permissions for monitoring Oracle 10g via J2EE Diagnostics

User permissions for monitoring Oracle 10g.

For the Oracle 10g performance monitoring, the user collecting metrics should at least have the "Create session" and "Select Any Dictionary" rights.

    Hi,

    1. Did you get a chance to work with diagnostics on Oracle EBS application? if so, what are the metrics that you were able to capture?

    2. What are the metrics that can be collected by ORacle collectors and how are they useful in troubleshooting?

    3. Once I have configured Java/j2EE diagnostics for application, in case if it (application) connected to a DB should I install collector there? would I be able to see the actions of the collectors in J2EE offline analysis graph or I need to have another diagnostics Tab like oracle 11i diagnostics please help

    Thanks in Advance.
