Error: “General run error” when clicking the browser Back button

If you receive a "General run error" message when the QuickTest Professional script tries to replay clicking the Back button on the browser.

The "Enable third-party browser extensions" option in Internet Explorer is disabled.

Set the "Enable third-party browser extensions" setting

Set the "Enable third-party browser extensions" setting by following the steps below.

1. In Internet Explorer, select Internet Options from the Tools menu. The Internet Options dialog box appears.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. In the Browsing section, set the "Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)" checkbox.

4. Click on Apply and OK buttons to apply the changes.

5. Restart the browser.

    While executing UFT Script my Sync Method is not supporting then i used Object.ReadState method but this also not supporting but in my system McAfee is there help me what to d0
