Perform a Clean Uninstall of Service Test

To perform a clean uninstall of Service Test (ST) 11.x.

A. Ensure complying with Requirements

o Ensure full admin rights as well as UAC off for the respective Windows User profile.

B. Review Optional steps

1. Backup licensing information:

Seat license: back up the LSERVRC file.

Concurrent license: Save contents of LSHOST/LSFORCEHOST Windows environment variable(s).

2. Backup the Service Test Projects/Tests storage (go to “Start” menu, select “Run”, type “%userprofile%\Documents\ServiceTestProjects” and click “Ok”)

C. Uninstall Service Test core product:

0. Open a CMD (Command Prompt)

1. Navigate to <<Service Test Image Folder>>\STSetup\MSI (“Service Test Image Folder” path is where the files used to install HP Service Test 11 are located)

2. Execute the file:

run_before_uninstall.bat

3. Go To Control Panel -> “Add / Remove Programs” (or “Programs and Features” for Vista/Windows 7/Windows 2008)

4. Uninstall “HP Service Test”

D. Delete traces left by product.

o Uninstall the HP Report Viewer. Note: If there is no other HP Product using this tool, proceed freely, otherwise check with such before uninstalling mentioned feature

F. Restart the Machine (HP recommendation)
