Analytics 8.x fails on Non-English Operating System

cannot run Analytics on a machine with Non-English Windows Operating System.


Failed to open packet lists


Please perform these steps with Administrator privileges:

1. Open the Services window (services.msc)

2. Stop the Shunra WatchDog Service

3. Open the Task Manager

4. Look for the Process ShunraServicesJ.exe

5. If it is running, then kill the process

6. Edit this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Shunra\bin\startup.bat

7. Add ” -Duser.language=en -Duser.region=US” after the “start C:\WINDOWS\SysWoW64\ShunraServicesJ.exe”

a. It should look like “start C:\WINDOWS\SysWoW64\ShunraServicesJ.exe -Duser.language=en -Duser.region=US …”

8. Save the file

9. Start the Shunra WatchDog Service

10. Verify that the Process ShunraServicesJ.exe is running

11. Start Shunra Analytics and open the test file
