What is Crop & Resize PDF?
Crop & Resize PDF is a free online tool that removes unwanted white margins or resizes a PDF to an exact paper size. It offers three modes: auto-trim detects and crops the blank border around your content, custom margins cut an exact amount off the top, bottom, left, or right of each page, and standard-size mode rebuilds pages at a chosen paper size (A4, Letter, A3, or Legal). Cropping keeps your text as real vector content, and the entire job runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Common Use Cases
Tighten Scanned or Converted Pages
Remove uneven white borders left by scanners and converters so every page fills cleanly and prints edge to edge.
Fit Content to a Paper Size
Rebuild a non-standard page layout into an exact A4 or Letter size for portals, printers, and submission systems that reject odd dimensions.
Consistent Margin QA
Apply identical custom margins across every page to standardize spacing in a document before print or review.
QA Test Assets
Produce tightly-cropped or fixed-size PDF fixtures from sample documents for layout, print, and visual-regression testing pipelines.
